Our candles are made with our signature blend of 100% pure beeswax and tallow, and infused with essential oils and phthalate-free fragrance. They contain no toxins or additives. Each candle is hand poured into a 9 oz amber recyclable jar or metal tin, with a kraft label and metal twist-top lid.
Our design complements most décor, making it a versatile gift idea! Our beeswax and tallow are sourced locally in the United States. Our candle wicks are made of cotton and contain no lead, zinc, or other metals.

Haunted Library belongs to our Stone & Soil Collection—a series of candles inspired by earth, light, and time. Each scent is crafted to ground your space in the rhythms of nature and to bring the beauty of the seasons into your home.
All of our candles are handcrafted with a natural blend of beeswax and grass-fed tallow—two timeless, sustainable ingredients with a clean, beautiful burn.
• Naturally clean-burning – Unlike paraffin, beeswax and tallow do not release synthetic chemicals into the air.
• Beeswax purifies the air – When burned, beeswax can help neutralize pollutants and allergens by releasing negative ions.
• Tallow is biodegradable & sustainable – We use locally sourced, grass-fed tallow that supports regenerative agriculture and avoids waste.
• No dyes, no paraffin, no junk – Just whole ingredients that burn beautifully and safely.
• Variations in texture are natural – You may notice some light frosting, faint marbling, or small surface cracks. That’s simply the nature of truly natural waxes and a sign of authenticity—not a flaw.
Each item is handmade by me in my small home in Iowa. Because all of these items are handmade, they may occasionally have minor imperfections such as slightly off-center labels or wicks, tiny markings on the outside of the jar, textured wax on top (typical with natural waxes), etc. None of these impact the quality of the candle. Please realize that scents are subjective and I appreciate you taking the chance on my aromas without sniffing them first. Some Thread & Crumb candles are novelty items and can be non-traditional scents. They are my personal creative interpretation of the story behind the candle and it is possible for you to disagree with the scent.
